Michael Panontin‘s review of Rêves describes it as “wintry, desolate, even a bit forlorn […] all of which is to say that those with obscure off-the-grid tastes will find much to like here.” Rêves is a fully improvised album inspired by ancient European myths and culture that combines melodic piano melodies with dark ambient and drone elements.
The self-titled debut Lachrymalice album consists of re-recordings of melodic death metal tracks I wrote throughout the 2000’s. The album includes full instrumental versions and synth only versions of every track.
The Overlooker 2 soundtrack was created using Nintendo, Super Nintendo, Sega Genesis, and Gameboy soundfonts and synthesizers alongside modern production techniques and tools. The result is a mix of late 90’s survival horror ambience and classic chiptune sounds that compliment the aesthetic of the game.
Sinister, ominous, and disturbing – The Hagen Incision is exactly what you would expect for a concept album based on one of the most terrifying true crime novels ever written. In many ways, The Hagen Incision is a follow up to 2011’s Unhinged in that it further explores dark ambient, drone, and noise genres.
During the early 2010’s, Arbitrator’s mastermind Robert Kukla contacted me to write and record guest synths and samples for his new album. The result is Indoctrination of Sacrilege, which also features Dirk Verbeuren on drums and Myles Malloy on lead guitar. Cover art was created by Colin Marks while Sascha Laskow produced and mixed the album and Jens Bogren mastered it. Indoctrination of Sacrilege is an album every death metal fan should listen to.

The Overlooker soundtrack contains 12 tracks of dark survival horror ambience, including remixes and tracks from 2011’s Unhinged album. This was my first full soundtrack, and as the game was created in roughly 22 days the soundtrack was written and recorded during one very motivated day.
The Teichoscopic Themes is a short concept album inspired by both romantic and horror films.
Inspired by minimalist game soundtracks and apocalyptic films, emT is an album that explores genres and styles briefly touched upon throughout Encrypted, Progenitor, and Sub-Zero.
Encrypted combines various genres ranging from Trance to Metal to Dark Ambient to Hip Hop. The album deals with macabre topics from horror games, the World War II code breakers of Bletchley Park, and the death of late Dennis Ritchie, resulting in a unique experience that covers numerous emotions.
A concept album about my favorite horror film, Unhinged is a special album to me as it is the first album where I felt I had learned to create dark ambient survival horror music. The album is uncompromising and unconventional in every way. The album is a loose follow up to Sub-Zero, and the working title for the album was “Sub-Zero 2.”
After the strict concept album of Sub-Zero, Progenitor is an album where each track stands on its own. While Sub-Zero was introverted, Progenitor is action packed and aggressive. Tracks like Storm Cellar combine orchestral scores with dance music and horror sampling, while tracks like Eidolon combine breakbeats with piano melodies and chants.
After the personal success of Mirror Image, I began working on Sub-Zero immediately. Sub-Zero is a full concept album based around my favorite horror movie where I explored a myriad of production techniques and music styles I had never tried before. The result is one of the proudest accomplishments of my life.
The album that started it all. Mirror Image is my first electronic solo album where I branched off from half a decade of recording only heavy metal music. The completion of this album convinced me I was capable of becoming a soundtrack composer, or writing the styles of music I had always loved, and achieving my dreams. Coincidentally, Mirror Image was written and recorded during a difficult personal period. You can be the judge as to whether optimism or cynicism shines through stronger.
The Singles album contains an always growing tracklist of various singles I have released since I began recording as Connor O.R.T. Linning in 2009. Along with singles, the album includes game soundtracks, unreleased demos, and remixes.
